Testimonials:

4 mos working with a student online:

“ I just wanted to express my appreciation for what you do with A.  I’ve noticed a jump in his ability to read and write- in fact, he’s been reading longer words he sees while he’s out and about, which is not something he would have done before. He’s becoming more comfortable and confident in his abilities.

In the fall, A took the MAP test, and the score report just came out. I’ve attached it here for you in case it’s something that would be helpful for you. It is helpful to compare the growth!

Again, thank you for everything!

Best,

L”

At about 3 months. working with a student online:

After watching and listening to her 7th-grade daughter read, the mother said:

“Wow!  That’s amazing!  Have you been teaching this for like 100 years?  The last time I read with her, she could not sound out the word ‘mouse.”

-R

“ I wanted to tell you that we went to a museum over break, and P read the displays and he went through the museum.

He is beginning to enjoy reading more because it is getting easier for him . Thanks for all you do!

From a parent about 5 months. into Ms. Amanda's online program and teaching:

“This is all thanks to you. We had  R at an Elite private preschool whose selling point is that kids read fluently by the time they leave the program to enter kindergarten. Then she transferred to a college preparatory school that has some of the highest reading and math scores in the state.

We even got the curricula these schools were using and worked on reading at home.

Even then, she was still struggling, and it felt like nothing we were doing was helping her make progress.

Then she started meeting with you. She went from struggling to read a page to finishing a grade-level book more efficiently. She also increased the number of words she can read in a minute by 45 words. Yesterday, she was presented with this award at school. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I don’t think this ever would have happened without you.”

Parent about 4 mos

“Ms. Amanda, I HAVE to show you these test scores!  She is making such progress, and we are thrilled!  Thank you!”

Parent about 6 mos into Ms. Amanda's online phonics:

“J is reading on grade level for the first time ever!”

About 5 months into online learning with Ms. Amanda:

P  is reading more and talking about going to college in the future. So happy and grateful for you and the program.

About 6 mos into the program:

“ We really like what you do and would like to continue working with you!”

~K

About 5 months. into working online with my program:

“We are noticing a HUGE difference in K’s reading and writing - especially her spelling!  She is so much more confident in reading bigger words.  Out of habit,  sometimes when she is spelling, she will initially ask how to spell a word.  Then she will pound out the sounds, break it up, and spell it correctly now 9/10 times!  She has really grown in her confidence as a reader and speller.  We are so thankful for what you do for her!”
